Our 1884 Legacy Society
Our 1884 Legacy Society
A legacy is one of the simplest and most flexible ways of making your gift and allows you to support the Green & Silver Bursary Fund in a way in which you may not be able to do during your lifetime. The tax benefits of a legacy gift are considerable – all such bequests can be made free from Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains Tax, so you could reduce the total tax burden levied on your estate to your family. Legacies may range from a few hundred pounds to a collection of books, to a piece of artwork.
By joining the 1884 Legacy Society and leaving a gift in your will, members will be invited to regular events at the school hosted by the Head and members of the Senior Leadership Team.
If you would like to find out more about including a gift in your will and joining the 1884 Legacy Society, please contact our Head of Development and Alumni Relations, Polly Rumbold at polly.rumbold@surbitonhigh.com.
